Nothing more simple than that: you only need to be at least 14 years old and pass the medical exam.

As soon as you become member of the club, you start flying. Your instructor will explain you the theory related to each flying lesson.

After a series of flights, your instructor will tell you to fly solo.

In winter, you can attend to the theorical lessons and pass the theorical exam. This exam is only required to obtain your pilot's licence.

As soon as you are member of the club, you receive a training licence alowing you to fly with an instructor.

He will give you all the theorical background you need to fly and teach you how to fly until you are able to do it yourself alone.

After a series of flights, he will authorize you to fly solo.

Since your first solo flight, you will be allowed to fly solo on the unique condition that there is an instructor on the ground to look after you.

This period will be monitored closely by an instructor, with the help of several flight tests.

Nevertheless, you will be able to fly on more sophisticated gliders, you will do longer flights, building your own solo experience.

After 15 hours solo, you can pass your pilot licence allowing you to fly without any instructor on the ground. It's a necesseray condition (not sufficient) to start country soaring.

For this, you need to pass the theorical exam and practical exam in flight.

Now you have everything in hand to get more qualifications or badges: passenger licence, back seat passenger licences, instructor,...

Also you can pass some tasks of badges: 5 hours flight, 50 Kilometers,...
